SCOTT KIM, M.D., is the chief medical officer of a federally qualified healthcare center (FQHC) in Southern California. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases and did both his residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins in East Baltimore. He has been in practice for 12 years, most of it spent in HIV primary care, and he considers his experiences treating undocumented immigrants and people of LGBTQ backgrounds as the most formative of his career.
