Lydia Suh was born in South Korea and moved to a small town in Georgia at the age of 9. After she learned English in a southern accent, she made her way to Kansas, and eventually to California where she came to fully embrace the west coast lifestyle. She graduated from UCLA with a BA in Political Science and moved to San Francisco, working in political campaigns. While attending City Church, Lydia decided to change her path to ministry. She worked as a youth pastor in San Rafael while attending school. She graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary (M. Div.) and works in full-time ministry at City Church.
