Wesley Hatakeyama is the event director of Eroica California, an annual road bicycling event held in CA’s Central Coast Wine Country. Wes is a long time cyclist and a collector of vintage Italian bicycles. Originally born in Japan, he came over to the U.S. as a young teen, where he started competing in rodeos and eventually became a professional horse trainer. Wes lives with his wife Tracey, in the Paso Robles area, where they owned and operated a successful professional show horse farm for almost three decades.
